Singnet 10Mbps Plan - Reviews, The Truth Revealed

I wanted the 15mbps Plan at SGD$98 with the Free Macbook but they did'nt have the option for it online.

So I clicked on the 10mbps thinking I can do an upgrade anytime. I called 1610 and the Singnet staff

confirmed with me that I will be getting the 15mbps Plan the following week.

I signed up and upgraded on the 27th of Nov 2009, broadband connected on the 3rd Dec 2009 and today is the 17th Dec 2009!

Guess what! Still 10mbps! :) I am enjoying a 1.58mbps download speed every few minutes! Yipee!

At SGD $88 per month! WOW!

Sigh...that's not all...the worst part is.. yet to come...

On the very 1st day of the Singnet 10mbps Plan commencement, I spent 3 to 5 hours in total just trying to get it stable!!!

I was on the phone with Kartic the Singnet Technician for almost 2 hours then I hung up.

I switched from Starhub and it was the worst and BIGGEST mistake of the Year 2009.

I own an online business and I invest in stocks thru the online portals.

Intermittent internet connections can cost you alot of money if you trade online.

I called their new 1688 number and asked if I could upgrade to the business line (me assuming it will actually make a ****ing difference)

the Singnet staff said " I am not sure but will ask the sales staff to get back to you "

I was still expecting the Starhub Professionalism and waited for the call. Again made a fool out of myself cos no one called!

I also asked her what if Singnet can't do anything about the intermittent connection and cant deliver what they sold to me for 24 months.

Her answer was classic. " Am very sorry but the contract is binding and you can't cancel or ask for a refund."

I answered her with so much sorrow " so...I have to live with 2 years of no internet lah...

my fault what I am the one who chose Singnet...my fault I pay lor...what to do.."

I am not a Starhub employee and I did not use to hate Singnet so much but after this horrendous experience,

My lips will always sing the sorrow of the mistake I made that fateful day...when I signed up and believed in Singnet.

I am so upset that I am creating this blog at 4:34AM on a Thursday! I am still awake because I was trying my darnest

to get the ADSL line to have an IP instead of 4 ****ing DUCK EGGS! 0.0.0.0

Starhub....wo zhidao cuo le...yihou bu gan le....
